Stay: Photo Essay

By Christine Pemberton

The district of Kullu in India’s Himachal Pradesh is often referred to as “Devbhoomi”, meaning the land of the gods. One look around you, and you immediately understand why. Himachal is blessed with the ranges of snow-capped mountains, with icy, clear streams tumbling down the hillsides, and with blue skies from here to eternity.

Larisa Resort - Himanchal Pradesh - candlelit dinner

A candle-lit dinner under a crescent moon, with a bonfire burning close by? Mountains watching over you, trees around you. Doesn't get much better, now, does it?
