Calling all student travellers... wanderers... storytellers!

We had an amazing array of entries on the theme of 'Most memorable journey in India'! Now we need your votes to decide which writer wins a prize! The top three most liked entries are winners of the contest.

The most liked entry/the winner of the contest gets 3000 Rs of cash prize and 4000 Rs worth of merchandise
The second most liked entry gets 2000 Rs of cash prize and 3000 Rs worth of merchandise
The third most liked entry gets 1000 Rs of cash prize and 2000 Rs worth of merchandise.

The winner will be announced on the 20th of May after all the votes have been counted!

Terms and conditions

  1. Submitted entires must be original accounts of the participant and not reproduced from any source in any part.
  2. The competition is open to anyone living in India
  3. Entries without accompanying travel photograph will not be considered.
  4. Write up word limit must not exceed 250 words.
  5. One entry per person is permitted.
  6. Bring Home Stories reserves the right to alter the rules and competition prize, provided the alternative prize is of an equivalent value.
  7. Details of the winners will be available on the bring home stories' website page on the 20th of May 2015.
  8. By submitting an entry to the Competition, you give Bring Home Stories:
    1. Permission for your Submission to be published on BHS website and on any social media account controlled by BHS (including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter accounts and you grant BHS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use and publish your Submission in electronic format (including the BHS Websites and BHS Social Media Accounts) and hard copy (including any BHS publications) for purposes connected with the Competition and to adapt the Submission to enable such publication (including to crop or otherwise edit it for such purposes), and you hereby irrevocably waive, for the benefit of BHS, all moral rights in the Submission to which you are entitled.
    2. The right to use your name, college and country of residence for the sole purpose of identifying you as the author of your feature and/or as a winner or runner-up of the Competition.
