Artist: Video

It will be too simple to describe Gopika Nath as a Textile Artist. The relationship between the needle and thread and Gopika is the one that has travelled and evolved over time. The thread or the "sutra" is a constant reference for Gopika to build her understanding of situations and even life. Gopika's art is a fragment of her imagination that draws from her intensity and emotions.

Gopika is a Fullbright scholar and an alumnus of Central Saint Martins, London. She has years of experience of understanding textiles first as a designer and then an artist.
