The Delhi Photo Festival is a biennial event, it was launched in 2011 and its second edition begins on 27th September 2013. In its first year, the festival had around 500 submissions and this year the submissions have gone up to 2500 from 90 countries. Grace has been chosen as the theme for Delhi Photo Festival 2013 as a tribute to the photographer and "friend of the festival", Prabuddha Dasgupta. Dinesh Khanna, Founder, Delhi Photo Festival talks about the festival.
Speaking at the festival in 2011 Prabuddha Dasgupta had said, “I want to have a long string of images, held together by grace, because grace is that undefineable, non rational, non linear word that I am looking for…”
